Beach Micro-Wedding

When you are faced with the decision to rework your wedding day due to a pandemic, you can either meet it with resistance or fall into it. In the transforming of their day into an intimate backyard micro-wedding, Sarah and David were a graceful example of the latter by exhibiting Zen principles of being in harmony with the natural flow of things and receptiveness to the powers at play. Having an at home wedding, they were able to implement a beautiful and ancient prayer offering known in Buddhist culture as a Despacho. A close family friend officiated. What followed was a stroll to the beach for a ceremony very clearly blessed by the wind. It was a a simple and meaningful day to celebrate their love, and a new beginning!
